This privacy policy governs the use of the software application “FinArt” (hereinafter also referred as 'App') for mobile devices. FinArt is created by FRIENTEER SOFTWARE PVT. LTD. hereinafter called “Company”.

App does not collect Email address or Phone number to protect user privacy; except when explicitly provided by you for the purpose of contacting the Company.

For the purpose of providing service, App reads the text messages (SMS) sent by providers of services and/or products including but not limited to Credit or Debit Card Issuing Institutes, Banks, mobile carriers, utility companies & retail outlets. App may use location services of your mobile device to determine your current location in order to show you this information at appropriate time (e.g location map of expenses) within the app. User is prompted for consent before reading SMS and/or using location services of mobile device at the time of installing the App.

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the mobile device id, mobile device model, your mobile operating system, and information about the way you use the Application.  This information is only used to improve the Application & the service. For eg support for new SMS formats, merchant category mapping etc

Company shall not publish, sell, give on rent, trade or otherwise transfer any user's information to third parties except when it is required by law, such as to comply with a legal process or when disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
If “Company” is going for merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via notice on our web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

Clients may at any time stop collection of information by the Application by turning on Private Mode or uninstalling the Application.  User may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application or network.

We respect your privacy. With our flagship Private Mode feature, you can opt to stop SMS text or corrosponding transaction information from going outside your mobile device. In other cases, only anonymous & aggregated data is retained for the purpose of improving the App and user experience. This data may be retained for a reasonable time.  Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

App is designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity & security of your personal information. We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Please be aware that, although we endeavour to provide reasonable anonymity & security to information we process, maintain and transmit; no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
No money can be moved through this App. This means that even though you can view your accounts, analyse your expenses and transactions, you cannot transfer money between accounts through the app.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use will be deemed approval of all changes. All changes made in the policy will be available on the link provided.

By use of the Application, your consent to our “Processing” of your information, as set forth in this Privacy Policy is presumed.  "Processing,” means including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information as per the applicable laws.
